Back from 2k mile French trip. The GT does an amazing job looking good stationary in the garage but an even better job eating chunks of France and creating memories. Get those cars out and drive them!

emovis benefit to me is when you hit big queues at tolls you can mainly zip through the special lane. Saved us a chunk of dead time
Still here in France for another 2 1/2 weeks but wholeheartedly agree with getting the cars out and enjoying the very smooth sweeping French tarmac

So I have signed up with Bip and Go. No issue with Barclays IBAN so far. Let's see how they work in practice!

I've 2 for last 5 years, they work great! Slow down to 30 and then slam that right foot down moment barrier goes up to get to 130kmh (only in the dry and no faster) as fast as possible just because the noise is incredible and because you can.

We came through the Swiss border last Saturday and there is a lane at the border crossing point where you can buy a vignette.

There was no queue and the whole process was quick and easy. Also cheaper than buying online before you go
I have my ebay unused one and the bip and go tag arrived today so I am good to go. Now where did I leave my car???

Belgium motorways have always been terrible
Disagree the main ones brussels to Antwerp, Ostend to brussels are very good and FREE. To think they have half of Europe travelling through, it makes UK motorways look positively third world !

Also stop at autogrill a for food in Italy. They are actually really good and have quality food. Nothing like the disgusting fast food fest of most UK service stations

Belatedly coming back on this thread. All advice was top drawer. Cruised beautifully, exited the tolls at high rev, made sure fuel never dropped below 1/4. The GT LOVED the roads, just chewed them up. And I've never had so many heads turned!! Took Mrs. plus 2 x sprogs and was fantastic. Blip and go was fab, wide lane on EuroTunnel was great, managed to bring a case of claret back and even stopped at Le Mans. And not a single niggle from the car. But I guess that's what she's built for!
