I'm sure it's made by Fiat / Maserati, they made it weird so the Maser boys would stay clear and still buy Masers..!!!

I chose the Twin Air Lounge. Dual logic automatic with a shiifter, so I can pretend to be driving a touring car if I want. Or leave it in full auto for pottering, bluetooth, air con. Four proper seats. Panoramic sunroof. Once it loosens up, it will do 55mpg (Fiat say 70, but that's not attainable in the real world, IMO). It has stop/start and an eco mode which switches off the turbo. But, it's great fun when you press on. As I said, no congestion charge, no road tax. £187pcm.

You fill the thing up for thirty five quid ! As I'm fully in touch with my feminine side, I got it in white. (The fact that most other colours cost extra had nothing to do with it ;) ) It's very tax efficient, in fact it was my accountant who told me about it.

A terrific town run around

Yes it's the 500. Dem, I didn't look at the diesel as i was interested in the tax breaks. It's the very first car I've ever bought on finance. My accountant said I should do it that way as it's so tax efficient. BTW I was very disappointed by the service I got @ Desira on the North Circ. so much so i actually went and bought the car somewhere else.

Yep. I'm on Chaseside, between Southgate and Cockfosters.

Funny how I got it. The attitude of the salesman at Desira (now you've named it ;) ) was so weird, that I started a thread on PH about it. I won't go into it on here. Through that, I got a PM from a guy working at a dealership in Bournemouth who had read the thread and who basically pitched me a deal. Which I accepted.

Kudos to him for taking a punt.

:)

Some dealers are so awful I am amazed they keep going, but they seem to get away with just about everything, I say name and shame..!!

They leave a lot to be desired. They put nasty scratch on my 166's dash when it was new, turned into a **** of a fight to get them to change it.

Edit: Haha the censor removed 'H E L L', we must have an atheist censor who doesn't believe in 'h e l l' :)

I had a similar experience with JCT 600 in Wakefield, they took in one of my Jeeps for working on and put a great scratch in the front door pillar liner, they replaced it finally at a cost of about £400 to them and so they should..!!
