15% jump in bhp, upgraded turbos and brakes, significantly better performance, lower production volumes, better trim. From what i know about 5 to 6k more expensive than a like for like s4.

on reflection, 6% buyers fee seems fairly high for not really doing much at all for it, traditional auction houses have huge overheads in comparison
or you could have listed with a blue chip auction house and lost your money (Coys?). Their sell rate is high, the photos are high quality and it seems to be working well. I wonder if it is a good alternative to the AT or PH for private selling? Given the potential for massive costs, I am not sure I would go for a Ferrari or Maserati to save a few k vs buying from an expert like Dicky. Could quickly prove penny wise pound foolish. Over engineered Mercs from the 90s may make more sense....

another Scuderia also LHD running at 85k. Might have seen some hard use, but 20k gearbox rebuild + new clutch + 4 new pilot sport 4s show some care has been taken.
I know a man with serious car hobby sitting on mclaren Long tail who insists it is the best driving car he's had.

Would still have a Stradale. Always found the noise of scud is too focussed on bass notes. (from the outside, as they drive away. Never heard on at max chat)

Lovely Sebring but I'd need to see that colour in the flesh before I bought it. Could be gorgeous. Could be ghastly. (I'm not in position to buy this mid you so it's all just dreaming....Sigh....)

Coys "blue chip"? There is a phrase containing barge pole that springs immediately to mind!

I have dealt with most of the physical auction houses so if anyone is thinking of using one feel free to ask.

Looked lovely. Proper car. Coombs Guildford were a famous Jaguar delaer when they sold this car new. I bet this was substantially more expensive then than an E-Type or Mark 2 (even a Coombs modified one).

My dad knew John Coombs and worked some of the week in hospitals in Surrey, if his list was a bit short he used to go and play cars with John Coombs and had a couple of close shaves as a passenger with him!
