Does anyone know what this code is for our cars (02 Spyder here)?

Generic definition is:
P1323 Is a code for ICM 24X Reference circuit low frequency.

I have no idea what that even is!! LOL

Cheers and thanks in advance!

The scanmaster software I have shows the following for code P1323:
Ford - Cylinder #11 High to Low Side Short
GM - ICM 24X Reference Circuit Low Frequency
Volkswagen - Knock Sensor 4 (G199), Signal too small

A further search showed a cause for the GM code above as follows:
DTC P0340 and P1376 not set, at least 7 CAM edges received this ignition cycle, at least
one CAM REF pulse received within the last 4 seconds, engine speed over 496 rpm, then
the PCM did not detect any 24X REF pulses (24X circuit was low for 4 seconds).

P0340 generic - Camshaft Position Sensor "A" circuit
P1376 GM - Ignition Ground Circuit

Not sure any of this has helped, I guess the code can mean different things for different manufacturers...
If it were me, I would perform a battery reset, then if the code came back, get it read by a dealer or indi.

Thanks ENZ525, I appreciate the effort!!
I know we have many codes that are Maserati specific.
I googled the code and got the same definitions for various cars, but not ours.
I will indeed do the battery reset, then into the dealership for a proper reading just to be sure.
Thanks again, and cheers!!

FYI....a fellow owner (955i) on the ML site responded with the following for this code:

"Ferrari F430 code P1323 is as follows:
Code - P1323
Malfunction Source - RH STAGE SENSOR
Malfunction Description - The timing sensor signal is too advanced with respect to the engine rpm signal
Malfunction Type - Maximum threshold exceeded
Diagnostics - Signal panel check. Timing variator check. Engine Timing Check

Not sure if it's the same for Maserati "

^^^^^^^^

whats interesting is if we can establish a strong relationship between the F codes & M codes, that would be a great source for missing information.

Worth checking on F Chat to see if they have a code translator on the F430 section

That has TDC sensor written all over it. Simple and cheap to replace worth a go.

You sometimes get starting issues with a failing TDC sensor.

If you don't know, the TDC sensor or Top Dead Centre sensor tells the ECU the position of the crank in relation to the cams (timing).

Thanks Conaero!
You wouldn't happen to have a part number would you?
(Can't seem to find it anywhere)
