Well, the Italian electrics are doing their thing... Central locking, which I'll tackle in another thread. More pressing though is the aircon blower has stopped working and the temperature readout is showing the dreaded snow flake and four dashes.
A week ago the temp read out would throw up an E but after a few minutes the temp sensor would start working again. When it was showing an E, the blower would go to minimum if the fan setting was on auto. This could be overridden by going to manual. A couple of days ago the whole system would stop working and could not be overridden. After a few minutes it would restart automatically. This was NOT accompanied with the E on the dash.
Today the interval between failures shortened until it would no longer work at all an now the readout shows a snow flake and four dashes. The reset proced has not worked either. The bizarre thing is that the temperature readout has been working more reliably until today.
Can any one help on the location of fuses and relays? Also are there any connectors or plugs prone to failure or coming loose? Do I need to have it checked with an SD3?
Comments and suggestions gratefully accepted.
Thanks,
Neil
