Greed got the better of me and one mars bar later I realised that I had a large chocolate stain on the driver's seat!

Before I attempt to clean it has anyone successful experience of tackling stains on tech cloth?

Its the same sort of stuff my wife had in her Octavia VRS.....Its was a right pain in the bum to clean and in the end it was good old fashion non perfumed non coloured soap and hot water than cleaned it....Just a small amount of water and gently work in............Please don't blame me if it doesn't work or look worse though..

I use a foam type car upholstery / carpet cleaner. I have found the secret is to apply liberally to the entire seat squab. Gentle rub with clean cloth and allow to dry. By applying to the whole of the cushion watermarks are avoided.

Get some kitchen towels (dry quilted paper type) lay a couple of layers over the stain and then run a warm iron over it. It'll draw the fats up into the towel. Then wash with warm soapy water over the full seat area.

Thanks that sounds worth trying first.

I use a small hand held steam cleaner , great for suede and most synthetics
