Is anyone from here attending, it is on the 17th and 18th July so next weekend, it is a great day as i attended last year. There is a number of car clubs including Porsche and Lamborghini. Also some dealerships have stands there, Broughtons who specialise in Bentley went last year and took 2 Koenogsegg CCXR's and a Spyker C8. If you do attend, the paddock ticket is the best value for money as this allows you to get up close to all the cars whereas the standard ticket doesn't. There is old Formula 1 cars along with classic Touring and Rally cars plus rides in supercars which is in association with the Children's charity Sporting Bears, i think an XJ220 is available to have a ride in!!!! It promises to be even better this year and as been nicknamed mini goodwood, it would be good if we could organise a sports Maserati meet there?

Here is the website with all the info you will need.

also here are some pics from last year which i took.

I'm planning to go to this event next weekend with my 3200. I've not been before but lots of my work colleagues have as the event is sponsored by Bentley - general opinion says that last years event was well worth visting and this year should be even better. I'm told that it is very much a scaled down version of the Festival of Speed but as it's smaller and less busy the opportunities of getting up close to all the cars and drivers is even better.

If there is enough interest in this event from members of this forum then next year I will arrange a Sports Maserati club pitch to allow our cars to be displayed (probably too short notice now for this year). As Adam says there are lots of other car clubs there so it would be nice to build up a strong Maserati presence!

If you are thinking of attending do a search on the internet for discount codes for the tickets as there are plenty about on other forums which can be used when buying tickets online. I have some codes through Bentley but these ones which were on the Seat Cupra Forum offer an even better discount:

POPCT48 Adult Combined Weekend Paddock Tickets with Fireworks Concert (£45 instead of £60)
POPPP48 Adult Combined Saturday or Sunday Paddock Tickets with Fireworks Concert (£30 instead of £40)
POPCB48 Adult Weekend Paddock Tickets (£30 instead £50)
POPWK48 Adult Paddock Saturday or Sunday (£15 instead of £25)

Its supposed to be a great event, my classic car group are going in their Scimitars.... but I tend not to bother as I get too many stupid comments from so called other Reliant owners who dont like/appreciate my modded Coupe (see my avatar). Junked the 3Ltr years ago..... now wears a Ford 5Ltr V8, much better

I live just on the edge of Crewe - near Leighton hospital - so not a million miles away from you.

Definitely up for going, especially if there's a stand. I'm in Chester so not far at all. Could go either day but Sunday would probably suit me best

We are probably going to this on the Saturday and combine with the fireworks and concert. Can't wait !

Just going to hold fire until we get a better idea on the weather.
