I must agree with Michael. 3k sounds a bit optimistic Loz. Unless you are talking just the parts with someone experienced to undergo all the labour themselves? Even 3k for parts looks a tad light. Once you've got yourself a right front door and side panel, front bumper, right side skirt, replacement wheels (probably need the front pair at least I guess) and new pair of front brake discs you're already knocking on 3k surely? And that's just for starters...
Im not disputing what any one says as no one has yet viewed the car , but i have viewed many similar massers with close or identical damage , there are always close similarities when you know how these cars are put together , first off , ask any indie /main dealer and they will tell you the hubs are deliberately made to be the weakest point ,
there alloy and built to snap , hence the wheels falls off without too much effort , this in turn absorbs the impact and many a time saves any chassis leg damage , not always but mostly , but i agree , if it was me doing /organising the repair i would want it jigged and checked for the sake of £200 of hire plates, as i stated used parts are in abundance which means they are generally cheaper than copupe parts , i reckon around £1500 on used parts and a £1200 for panelling up prep and paint .
just my opinion thats all having done one or two massers under my belt so to speak, but it is what it is , and to be inspected thoroughly before purchase , if your handy with a spanner then its as i said cheap entry into the marque with a low miler
