Not necessarily....it could be that he was finding buyers were suspicious of the low price, but if they haggle it back down to £11k they think they've got a deal!

Car now sold. I joined the forum a couple of weeks back but only came across this thread very recently. Credit to NIGW for some reasoned and perceptive comments, also David Ellis for your helpful comments when you popped round.
LOZCB – you were “tickled” about me mentioning the carbon fibre trim. FYI this was a £1,300 option on the car when new. No way I would have spent that myself, but clearly it’s attractive / valuable to some folk, so that’s why I mentioned it.
DICKY GRACE – you’ve posted personal derogatory comments about me on this thread, whilst conveniently failing to mention that you test-drove the car weeks ago, made an offer and we subsequently exchanged e-mails. That’s called two-faced where I’m from, and frankly it’s a bit pathetic. Disappointing.

Jim, I admit the comments were personal and not very positive, although I did come and see the car and you said that the asking price wouldn't secure the car. In my opinion, that is wasting people's time. Perhaps I should've toned down my comments as I honestly think you are a nice pleasant bloke. I'm glad you've managed to sell in the end anyway. Apologies if I've upset you on a personal level.
