Chateau Impney 2017

Anybody been to this event, I've been watching with interest over the last number of years but 2017 theirs a big Maserati showing to celebrate 60 years since the factory finished racing, may be worth a road trip if anyone is interested.

Went to the Prescott Hill Climb last summer - cracking day out. It was really good watching cars being driven in anger!

Doh!!! Scrub that all the c****ing weeks in the year and the missus has just booked a holiday to Sardinia over that week, life's one continuous hardship these days

Communication in your household sounds as bad as it is in ours!!!

Hate to drag you back to something you won`t be able to attend, but how did you know that there is something special for Maseratis at this year`s meeting? I can`t see anything on the Chateau Impney website about it, or am I being as daft as usual? Is there some sort of parade - is there a special assembly - or what?

Is anybody organising a display of our cars to complement the ones which are competing?

The cars in the paddock will be competing and I would presume not suitable for a display...thats not to say a display in the grounds would not be welcome.

I know Prescott Hill do that..

Should someone, on behalf of the Sports Maserati forum, be approaching the organisers and asking if they would like us to put on a bit of a display of non-competing cars to go with the special Maserati flavour of the event? Is there anyone local to Chateau Impney who might be willing to do that on our behalf? ...............or do we all just turn up?

Got my eye on going to this event. Not a long way from my house and having watched some of the action on Motors TV over Christmas it looks worth a visit!
