OK Chaps,
You have all got me thinking now, I will have to go out and check this again, I'm pretty sure but not 100%, so I stand to be corrected. Give me a short time and I will report back on what happens at full throttle doing 120 in 4th and see if it changes up, or blows up??
Cheers

Beyond red-lining and auto change ups

What about dropping into neutral at 50mph and then back into gear in terms of clutch wear

Also high revs in low gears to avoid slippage?

Now Robert, your post was almost 23 hours ago...how long have you gone for to check this...or was your car parked some way away?

The cc box is a mechanical manual box in essence so anything u would do in a normal manual to prolong the life of your clutch aplys to the cc box,
If giving it the beans drop the gear use your rev range before changing up a quicker gear change means less contact with the clutch so less wear, don't hold it I first and at a stand still pop it in neutral, if your going to come to a stand still use your gears whe dropping speed or just drop it into neutral...
