I know this place has popped up many times and usually with a negative feeling.
Just watched a YouTube guy who bought the cheapest Range Rover 4.4 TDV8 in the Country and probably one of the highest mileage ones too.
190,000 on a 2011 car but full dealer history.
He paid the £200 MOT option and it failed meaning they had to get a pass on it replacing a suspension arm, a shock which was Bilstein and the suspension compressor without costing him more than the £200.
Say the MOT £40 the repairs for £160 parts labour and vat.
He has much more to do but was interesting to watch.

@Daryl-r were you offered the £200 MOT option on the GT you bought from carswithnoreservereading on eBay?

I have watched the YouTube video and the guy is clearly very happy with his 4.4 TDV8 L322 Ranger Rover initially. But having seen the bodge on Daryl's car, I am a bit concerned as to the quality of the work that was done.

Fast forward a month and he is looking at the suspension himself.

The guy was concerned with the no name Chinese air bag but you can bet the suspension arm the fitted would be a cheap one but they did fit a Bilstein shock absorber.

@dgmx5 sorry just seen this. No the got was mot’d before they got their hands on it. I think when they received it they noticed a grinding and took it apart to sell it to me. The issue muct have arisen between the mot and me getting it.
