Very nice. No worries about a trident on a tax disc then with the logo emblazened on there :)

With ref to the trident logo, the company that make them do not offer a copy of the official trident logo, but are happy to embroider any art work that the person ordering supplies. I've no idea if this is a genuine legal loophole. But as a multiple Maserati owner (and given that official mats for this car are no longer available), I'd think Maserati would be pleased rather than angry. After all, it's in their own interests to have their older cars being preserved and used.

it's usually the rears are quite tricky...

I had the 'last set in the UK' which were from a main dealer turned Jeep dealership (?) on the South Coast somewhere (a lovely guy in the dealership in Edinburgh found them through a national parts search)
Anyway- when they turned up- they were Royal Blue (like Ewan's here) -oh no; they're black aren't they!? and the rears were much bigger than the original ones.

The original ones were grey- I've got a Bordeaux interior and have always wondered if the factory picked the delivery mat colour sets...

031.jpg052 (2).jpgin fact I've found an old shot of the two types together in the rear!
Don't laugh at my original (circa '01) floorwell-lights install- admittedly garbage; now much more tastefully revised...

Jim - the south coast Maserati dealership you are talking about is Meridien Modena in Lyndhurst. Their Jeep dealership in Bournemouth is called Meridien Majestic, and they also have an Alfa Romeo franchise in Portsmouth. They were the main UK Maserati player back in the days of the Cup, and were instrumental in the Cup being produced for us in RHD.

My new mats are dark blue (to match my car exterior), and the rears are indeed far too big! I too have an original set in grey. I'm going to send these off to Autostyle so they can have another go at making them. They can use my old set as a new/better template.

thanks for your understanding hodroyd...

I've always had them (in various levels of quality) in my Italian motors...

that's a great idea Ewan- be good to see how they turn out...
