Battery sounds done, they need to be in great shape to turn over these heavy engines

Had the same thing last week, it was the battery even though it turned over. Before you replace it, just check the terminals and more importantly the three cables that piggy back on to the positive terminal. One of mine was loose.

Also it might just be the immobiliser confused. Lock, unlock and try again and look for the CODE light on the dash (padlock) going out.

If none of that works check you have fuel pressure, there is a valve on the fuel rails on top of the injectors, press it with a key with the ignition on it should shoot out 6 foot int air so watch your eyes and take the f@g out your mouth first :)

If none if that works then you need to get it looked at.

Eurocarparts have Excide 096 batteries on special at the mo, 74 amp for £55

Not the battery, put a FULLY charged 75 amp/hr. battery on, with a FULLY charged 75 amp/hr. jump battery,
still won't start???!"!!!
Code lights go out on dash.

Then you don't have spark at the right time. Beau had a similar issue and it turned out to be a main fuse. PM him for more details.

TDC sensor is another one I have seen for 3200 starting problems.

That once happened to our AC and it was would you believe Radio Interference..?? Is the alarm / immobiliser lamp flashing..?? Try to start it using the red card code which bypasses the car security, see if that works..??

Decided it wanted to play today, I fitted a Brand New battery, locked and unlocked the car 5 or 6 times, and
Lo and Behold she fired up!!!!!!!
The alarm did give a funny squeak, just before going off, as I fitted the new battery even though the cut off switch was OFF?
I can only guess that something weird had happened to the immobiliser when the battery went flat.
I have had both batteries I tried tested, and they are both perfect!
Only problem now is the radio code no longer works!!!!!
