Did anyone watch that one, recorded it and managed to watch it last night, real heart breaking one, made me well up

No I haven't but nearly bought a micra blue run out x1/9.
Was a little too small for my frame size.
Mate had a rusty one for a while, fitted an Ansa quad pipe exhaust (what happened to them). The gear knob was always a laugh, just like a knob!

if you get a chance watch it, great resto as usual and a real shame owner never got to see end result.

I had one 89-92 , great cars
It needed welding on the inner arches so the MD of my ex wife's company got one of the welders to do it on nlythe steel they had was like something you'd build a ship out of

I Looked at it and thought if I came back in 100 years there'd be 4 tyres and 2 lumps of metal on the floor

sold it to 2 mates who went 50/50 on it , paul had a garage to which they both had keys , well before mobile phones , the problem was whenever it was sunny John went round and the garage was empty, the consortium didn't last long

Brother in law has one mouldering away on his drive. Helped him get it running last year, but that was it. Another restoration that will never happen.

Recorded will get to watch it over the weekend, never had one but as previously discussed, use to get called most wet mornings to help get one started by what we now call a MILF

i did buy a peachy white one quite a number of years ago when BCA Blackbushe used to hold the odd classic car auction, was in pristine condition and waxoil treated from new, would be worth a fair bit now if in same condition
