Andy,
It's a long term investment, when he is in F1 and earning millions, he can pay you back with interest mate..!!

The 4 looks like a smaller 6 but even more sleek...The M4 could spell the end of the M3 as we know it which would be a shame...The only M3 would be the 4 door....But we will see.

A good friend had a M3 V8.
Went to the Ring with him when I had the Elise, and also we did a Walshy day:

It is a great machine, however it has so many driver aids I think you would have to be a complete buffoon to loose it.
Unfortunately I think it made my friend think he is a driving god, when the truth is quite the opposite.

Yep there are alot of aids as with most modern cars but at least you can turn most off.......That has always been the bit about the Eliase I loved...Just you and your driving skills.....If you have them or not...you are in control.

Walshy is a great day......Love the green GT3...That sar is for sale at 911 Virgin at the moment........

Well spotted.
My friend was finding that the GT3 was too impractical, the fact that the only way he could clean the rear window from inside was with a broom handle and cloth tapped to the end, was just silly, the bucket seats allowed no access to the rear at all, not even for a small bag or crash helmet.
He saw a 997 Turbo going for a very good price and bought it, then he put the 996 GT3 up on brokerage. 911virgin bought it then for their stock.
If anyone does want a 996 GT3, it's a very good one, a phase II as well, as long as you can live with the low ride height and impracticability of the rear cage and non folding bucket seats!

Yes the 997 Turbo is fast, but the 996 GT3 is also incredibly fast.
On track the GT3 is so unpredictable, you get to the limit, and before you know it you are pointing the wrong way.
In comparison the Turbo is so much softer, and more suitable for mortals!
