I am sure most of you saw the picture of Voicey extricating illegal immigrants and now illegal balloon inflation devices from my wheel arch. Anyway the issue was the car alarm siren. Apparently when my car was in for new front end the battery was left to drain down which in turn drained the battery on the siren to such an extent that it is now defunct. This requires a new complete siren as battery is soldered onto circuit board of siren. No mean feat extracting and fitting the new one I suspect after the time it took Voicey to disconnect the existing one.
