With a trip to France pending I need to make up a spare bulb kit for my 2006 QP. (It would be useful to have in the car in any event) Neither the Maserati workshop manual nor my handbook appears to carry definitive bulb lists. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you.

Paul

Paul,
I did the same thing before my trip to Le Touquet last year...
I would like to recommend Matt at discountbulbs.co.uk (no relation, affiliation, etc)...
I contacted several companies, but he was the only one to come through with lots of info and put together a custom kit of 8 bulbs (and some fuses) for me
including an Osram D2S HID bulb for £45 all inclusive of VAT and Delivery.
He also went to the trouble of contacting Maserati to find out which bulbs were needed for my vehicle (and was quoted £153.19 + vat for exactly the same d2s bulb alone!).
Give him a shout, sure he will help...
but failing that, I think I still have the shipping list he sent me last year, and can try to pull this out when I get back home.
Regards,
Enzo.

Paul, give your local indie who does your car maintenance for you and ask him to make up a set for you, should only be the same as cost and a good way of getting it right!

Parisien,

Received and understood your PM. Thank you. Will post part details when I have them.

Regards,

Paul

Enzo,

If you have any part numbers or other details to hand this would be helpful. (We also discussed oversized front mudflaps for the QP.) If not easily obtainable, no problem. Thank you.

Best wishes,

Paul

If I recall correctly spare bulbs is only advisory for France???????

However a Road Working, tarmac laying, car recovery man syle yellow jacket must be in the car for each person, not the boot!

I have used autobulbsdirect.co.uk recently and they were very good prices and prompt delivery. They also sell Euro driving essentials such as the high viz jackets that Peter is referring to, at something like £5 each. May be worth a try.

David, can you list the specs of the bulbs needed for the 4200s?

Sure, I have the invoice at home with the details on it. I bought all new bulbs for the front wxcluding the xenons, as I had one fog lamp bulb out and it's such a T**T to get to, I thought I would do them all while I was in there!
I also replaced the rear indicators for silver capped ones so that you can't see the orange reflection of the standard bulbs - now that's sad!

I'll do a list later.

David, those are part numbers from Maserati or generic numbers?

Thanks again,

P
