I am looking forward to this event but I have a little concern …. this will be my first show with my 2008 pre facelift Maserati QPV Sport GT S Automatica and I worried it may not be good enough. The car was a Cat D in 2014 and I bought it as a bit of a project. Some of the old repair work has begun to degrade, the passengers side is all original and looks great but the bonnet and some sections of the drivers side could really do with some work and a respray - overall the car looks absolutely fine from 6 feet away but parts of it do not stand up to close inspection (although the interior is mint).

My concern is if all the other cars attending are near concours condition then is mine going to stick out like a sore thumb and spoil the display or do you usually get a variety of different condition cars at a show like this?

Wouldn't worry about that, park it next to mine it'll look great ;)

Mine was originally called 'Roary the Tatty Ratty" - but he's not quite so tatty any more - that's assuming I ever find our parking spot
