Broken Wiper Blade Retaining Clip

Hi everyone

In a (failed) attempt to replace the driver's wiper blade last night I managed to break what I assume is a retaining / security clip. I've attached two pictures of the clip (I have to admit I stole these pictures from someone else in this forum!) which I have circled in blue. I've looked through the usual sites (i.e. eurospares) and can find nothing. Nothing was delivered with the Bosch blade that I tried, nor the Denso.

Does anyone know a part number for these or a source? Or is there a workaround without this clip?

They are about £30 each clip if they are the same as the ones for Gransport wipers.

Thanks for the feedback. I contacted a local Maserati dealership who were, basically, useless. The guy kept telling me I was referring to the passenger wiper and wouldn't listen (sounded young). In the end he told me I'd need a compete driver side wiper arm for £300....... I've dropped EuroSpares a message but no answer yet. On eBay I can buy secondhand wiper arms, with the clip, for not much money - might go down that route - keep the clip and resell the arm. Luckily I still had the "bottom" part of the clip and this slots in nicely between the wiper clip and the U-hook on the wiper arm. Two spigots / lugs are holding it in place. That will keep me going until I find a solution (I try not to take it out in the rain....)

OK - an update to possibly close this thread. EuroSpares claim that the plastic clip is supplied with the OEM wiper blades. However, I have found a 2nd hand wiper arm with blade and clip on eBay for £35 and ordered that. Will be cheaper.

Lesson well and truly learned...

FYI - In case someone has a similar issue in the future.

My driver's side wiper blade disintegrated while I was washing the car. Thankfully Euro Car Parts had a few options available for the GT.

I went with Denso. The part number is 485778266 (Denso Hybrid Wiper Blade 26 Inch) £18.49. Perfect fit and comes with a spare retaining clip.
