Boot Lip Rubbing on GT

Hi all, hoping someone can help with a bit of advice. I’ve noticed that the lip of my boot is rubbing on the top of my rear bumper and starting to damage the paint. It doesn’t look wonky when looking at the back of the car so I assume it’s movement when the car is running (it’s rubbing on the left side but the right is fine). Is there any adjustment or missing cushion that I should be looking for? Car is a 2019 GT but I seem to remember a similar problem in my 2010 GT when I had it.

The boot lid has 2 bump stops (black plastic things). Get an adjustable spanner and lengthen the stops. If the boot doesn't close properly, you have done too much, adjust until just right.

I had this issue and it chopped a battery charger cable.
