Hey, glad to see you back fella! Whats new in your world of Italian cars?

Well, there have been a few meets (the 30th Biturbo anniversary being the biggest one) which were nice but frankly, the picture for cars here in Italy is bleak. Taxes going through the roof, new cars not being sold, generally a pretty sombre mood.

If it is true and who knows, there might just be a nice car out there for us all to chip in on and use as a euro tourer now and again..??

Loz,
Only 10%, I thought it would be at least 25%, maybe we should wait a bit and let them get just a bit more desperate, what do you think..??

Loz,
I'm a Yorkshireman, no point paying too much for something when the price could easily be realistic..!!

The natural arbitrage of foreign buyers is that they don't have to pay the 20% VAT (when buying from a dealer).

Usually the quoted price is what needs to be paid. But in some adverts, particularly for higher end cars, in the text box it says that for foreign buyers the price is lower (or, for domestic buyers, the price is higher). This works for dealer cars, not sales between individuals.

I may be wrong but that's how I understand it.
