Black maserati car mats with a biscuit coloured carpet? Thoughts?

Hi,

I've got a biscuit coloured interior, with biscuit coloured carpets. I need new mats, but am questioning spending £££'s on a set of biscuit coloured mats that will get trashed pretty quickly.

Black mats make so much more sense, but I think they might look odd?

Anyone already done this or consider it normal?

Yes: my QP has sand (Sabbia) interior; I bought black carpets to prevent quickly showing the dirt and actually think it looks better now (before, with sabbia leather and carpets throughout, a tad bland, after the black carpets give a nice contrast and match the dash bulkhead etc.) I got mine from http://www.carmatstore.co.uk – they do black carpet ones at cheap prices, good service, and are same dimensions as original equipment, fit with no problem at all. At those prices you could play around with whatever you wanted. I'd say go ahead.
