I deliberately avoided stating that they're waterproof... and if you want to be pedantic I should have said "pretty" bulletproof. I'm just asking the question about history because I'm intertested in the answer.
I believe the sevice intervals for the GT are 2 years apart, so should it matter if you have a 4200/GS that's only been serviced every 2 years and 10k miles? 3 years and 12k miles? And obviously if an owner can't be bothered to get the car serviced, they might have scrimped on other things - but which of those other things could cause the engine to go pop or any other expensive problems?
