Best way to improve GT 4.2 sound..

Other than buying a 4.7.. which is out of the question for cash reasons right now.

Looking at revisiting enhancing the sound of the 4.2 GT.

Especially after a bit more crackle on the overrun, not straight out noise.

Replace Backboxes and install an X-pipe by Larini?

X-Pipe only?

Larini the way to go?

Understand Doohickey did something with his. I'm in Sydney, Australia.

Any suggestions with hopefully a video clip would be very much appreciated.

This is with an xpipe only. I've not done anything else. Once the system is hot you get some pops and crackles when you come off the gas and a nice rasp around 2500-3000 rpm. It's plenty for me and isn't so loud that it gets wearing on a journey.

Well worth the investment - it makes a major difference.
