My poor other half is on nights and I've since found out she had a really bad shift last night.
What was it that woke her up prematurely?
It's our village open garden and scarecrow day with brass band, classic car display and a large influx of visitors from far and wide.
Fortunately we live of beaten track so none of that did it, but each year we have a fly past by a spitfire.
Bang on 2 o'clock it circled over our house nice and low to fly over village.
She didn't seem impressed this year!
Imagine if larin I made the pipes for a merlin, not that there's much length to them.
As this is car site best mention that car display wasn't up to much, good job Lincoln has a monthly car meet that's considerably better.
