Beautiful Blu Mediterraneo Gransport with leather/alcantara interior and 25k miles. Was this a forum member's car?

God that scruffy, did you notice the inside of the rear screen, it hasn't been cleaned for years!

Engine
A few small tell tale signs of not impeccable ownership or OCD levels of maintenance you can find on others often.

As Loz mentioned.....dirty cam covers with peeling gold paint on plenum cover, peeling red paint on cam covers. Soft dash buttons look good though and not messy. Likely not the best, likely not the worst so seems decent enough at the pricing does it not?

No MOT currently apparently as expired Dec 19.
The engine bay looks as scruffy as mine, but mine has done 114k miles, not 40k km. The speedo shows kilometres, not miles. Is it definitely a car from Hong Kong because HK is imperial. Apart from a few cosmetic issues, looks a nice example.

I know it's not perfect, but it's nearly 20 years old and is priced at the lower end! The important thing to remember is that because of the way Trade Classics operates, all these blemishes are clearly shown up front to save prospective buyers a journey. It would've been a matter of a mere hour or so of extra work to make this appear pristine in photos and gloss over any weak spots, which is what most advertisers seem to do...I think we've all probably shown up to buy a 'minter' and left angry.

The lad was selling it on facebook last week or 2. The thing is the mileage on the receipts from years ago doesn't match up to the claimed current mileage if you look at the old hong kong receipts. I don't know if HK use KMPH instead of MPH which may be the case and could explain it but I am not sure.
Also I don't know if it has skyhook. I know all uk cars had skyhook, but uk spec vehicles provided for export didn't have it, hence all the cars in Australia which originated in the UK without it.
I did ask if it had skyhook, but nobody seems to know.

One of the receipts show 38,429 as the mileage in 2014. Even if that was in KMPH it would be 24000 miles in 2014. It claims to be on 25000 now.

That said, my 400i has done 2500 miles in the last 30 years, so it’s very possible to only do 1000 in 5 years.
