Probably my all time favourite Maserati - that is absolutely gorgeous. Although it's a lot of money it's amazing how much cheaper they are than similar vintage Ferraris.

And 10 years ago you could not give one away :)

lovely, wish i had found one years ago before they were cool, i think you need to sell all your organs to get one now. My favourite Maserati without a doubt.

That is just so right in every way it puts into stark contrast just how wrong Maserati are now :(

I'm not so sure. Look at all of the marks that have fallen by the wayside in the years between.

Maserati need a spiritual replacement for this. They need to be in business to be able to build it though. Sadly the Levante etc make business sense. They do need to have the sports cars ready to roll though. One with the V6 and another with the V8 otherwise they'll miss their chance.

Well Maserati were building small numbers back when the 3500GT came out, remember this was their first mass produced road going production car. The likes of the A6 GCS and 200S were the low numbers race cars which are worth a fortune now.

I must admit I agree with Dave, the 3500GT is so underpriced now compared to a similar Vintqge Ferrari!

I remember late 70s early 80s you couldn't give a 3500 away! How times have changed. I have a stash of period magazines, it will be interesting to see how prices and views have changed.

First Masser I came across .. Must have been in the 70? Used to arrive in the Season owned by one of my customers, I used to think what a strange but beautiful car, unheard of in the Highlands back then.

Bet his Lordship wishes it was still in the stable now...
