Has anyone fitted a baby/child seat into their 4200/GS?

If so can you post instructions/photos?

Cheers

Very keen to find out options too.

Our first is arriving in March and I'm having to consider chopping in the Maser.

- had the rear bench out on Saturday and definately no Isofix
- went to HR Owen to test fit a Maserati baby seat but it just doesn't sit well due to the scooped nature of the rear seats
- I can't find one of the cushion fillers made for the Australian market - Maserati want something like £500(!) for one and unsure of delivery times
- went to Mothercare and the best seat they can offer is the Maxi-Cosi Pebble
- interesting note on the anchor points - pretty sure I don't have these on my UK spec car - anyone retrofitted???

Contemplating making my own cushion but it doesn't inspire confidence - especially with the fragile goods sat above it!

Adam - is the file you sent the same as the PDF

You could try buying a chunk of good foam and cutting to shape, then cover it in simple cloth..!! so long as the baby seat fastens down tight on to the foam with the belt, young valuable passenger should be perfectly safe..!!

Ryan,

They should have fitted the anchor points as part of the Australian compliance... they had to do it with mine when I brought it in...

Thanks Adam - really useful to see the Maserati cushion. Now I know what I have to sculpt from some high-density foam.

Also, how does the anchor point work with a baby seat? As a novice, I understand how a regular seat belt attaches to a baby seat but don't understand i) what you use to connect the anchor point to the baby seat ii) where it attaches to the seat.

Thanks in advance.

Not sure where u reside; over here there is a strap from the capsule back that hooks onto the clip on the parcel shelf. Then the std. seat belt slots in behind the capsule and clips to the seat belt buckle

Suggest u do a google search - try this supplier in OZ Safe-n Sound
