They say they are causing misfires. Indeed there was an 06 GS with Iridiums in the workshop that had that complaint and Marios said the original NGKs were going back in and the Iridiums were going into a plastic bag. They deal with these cars every day so I think their views should be treated with all due respect. However, I will be leaving mine in until I get a misfire or they wear out as, so far, the engine is running like a Swiss watch.

My GS is currently at Autoshield for service and check flashing gearbox indicator display.
I changed the plugs to Irdiums before the visit to Autoshield inorder to keep the service cost down. However I am not impressed with the Iridiums. I have noticed a definate lack of response / hesitancy at low revs, almost like a mini misfire ! Marios and Russel at Autoshield say that they have seen this on a number of cars with the Iridium plugs fitted. Autoshield have replaced the plugs back to original NGK's.

James, I'm operating in a bit of a fog at the moment so it probably was yours. I'm confusing it with a black 06 spyder that was parked outside the shop. Doh!

Ian, Have you noticed any difference with the irridiums vs. the standard plugs?

Difficult to say Si, but it pulls really cleanly from the bottom and right through to the red. However, the pops, bangs and crackles on the overrun seem to be a lot louder! Coupled with the adjusted clutch, it drives really nicely. I will be leaving them in.

P, Don't worry I already do! My licence gets a bit twitchy when the top's down and the engine's hot. I'm loving it though!
