That is seriously cool. Probably more Masrs than we have down here in all of Aus.

We have 70 plus members with cars at the minute......hoping sometime to get the majority together for a meet...that would be something!!

"and then someone beep's their horn and it sounds like it should have been on Noddy's car..... "

"How dare you, sir!!!!"

Noddy's FIAT Gamine, never had twin IHI roller-bearing turbos!!!!!!!!

Yes; it's true though, it's the campest sounding horn ever- only evened out by being an air horn and not a piezo sounder. I think it's hilarious and I try to use it as much as possible. It kind of lighten's the tone ever time I drive it, you know?- I mean can you imagine trying to invoke an "angry" toot at someone with THAT noise?!!

Adam; thanks for putting this together; an invaluable document of the event.

It would be an achievement if we could get maybe 40 members next time. Bal, have to say the magazines look good, glad the MC12 issue is there, have only really looked at that one. Hope the Khamsin is ready at some point this year.

As loud as? AS LOUD AS?? IT WAS LOUDER!! :D :D

Actually I'll let Andrew have the deciding vote as I was behind him and we had a bit of a session blipping the exhausts whilst in the convoy.

I do have to say the GT-S has a nicer resonance though. Better tuned through the rev' band.

And the vote is.....hard as it is to say this.....Miles' car is louder. In particular, it's a lot deeper 'muscle-car' roar compared to the GT-S which has more of a Ferrari'esque rasp.

Well done Adam...Brilliant...Loving the drive by...especially the red Escort...

Who beeped their horn.......Its all loud macho Maseratis and then someone beep's their horn and it sounds like it should have been on Noddy's car.....

Great video Adam - well done!

Normally I would beep my horn , but the 3200 sounds a bit flat and toneless, maybe one horn has failed. The other issue is the thumb buttons on steering wheel used to stick, so horn sounded continuously until button pops/fuse blows. I found it hilarious, passengers less so.

you should have peeped Rob, that would have been hilarious if it had stayed on, a friend of mine sellotaped a small piece of house brick to his steering wheel once, drove on the motorway with the horn constantly on, peeing myself with laughter.

Glad they are of some use to you Adam.

Some good article in there, especially the 550 & 575. Theres a lot on the QP, and of course they had a Granturismo on long term as well.

Yeah, liked the bit where Harry Metcalfe collected his Granturismo from the factory, that is probably one of my dream days. Also particularly like reading the very old issues from the late 90's, what i also find amazing is the reports on the Ghibli Cup and how quick that car is. Harry quotes "i always look at the 60-100 mph time to see how fast a car really is, impreza 22b is 8.3 seconds, Audi Quattro is 10 seconds but the Ghibli does it in 6.1" that is quick by todays standards let alone 10 years ago.

if you want to read the end of term report, it is in issue 12 with the 340R on the front cover, and the issues before that have the Ghibli Cup in the fast fleet.

It is fair to say Mr Metcalfe is a real Maserati enthusiast, has owned 3 now, 2 Ghibli (one Cup) and a Granturismo, he was supposed to get a 3200 but bought something else i think.
