just picked it up today, new mc stradale vs trofeo race versio round mugello, plus granturismo s visits Reimes and the vineyards surrounding it, the gts is the same combo as shabab's, and my god it's bloody stunning; also great news, maserati sales have boomed this year and their best selling model is the gts, clearly not a recession for some.

Kaz's daughter bought me a years subscription to the topgear mag last xmas , what aload of old ......cks nothing but pure advertising , usually has 3 okay articles and thats it , last two issues ive not even opened , dont even consider it good closet material

not good news for me if masersati sales are booming....want them to be discreet low sale manufacturer keep the cars at enthusiast owners not jaguar men who would consider a QP when they trade their ford mondeo in....

Its all relative Dem some owners leave so we need new ones to take up the torch , otherwise there would be too many massers on the market and prices would plummet

there are quite a few masers on te market though at the moment for all te current models apart from gran cab.

Lots of other news in there also, well worth getting a copy...some highlights:
Lambrghini's vision of the future, the sixth element (carbon) looks amazing...V10, 570hp, weighs 999kg, 0-62 in .......2.5 secs
lancia ECV1, amazing 1.7 litre,twin turbo, 4 cyl engine (with 800bhp...yes 800)...
Pagani C9, rumour that it will make its debut at Geneva next year (I fancy another visit is in order)...
Quattroporte news, dimensions of the new model remain unchanged - choice of V6 and V8, 15% lighter due to new materials, 8 sp auto ZF transmission
Kei racing (www.keiracing.com) have introduced some nuts, in various colours...possible consideration for those rusty ones?

Forgot to mention there is also a nice article on the Giuliettas, '62 1600 Sprint, '60 Sprint Zagato and '62 1600 Spider...(not quite a veloce, but stunning all the same, wink, wink).

Auto Italia is good but perhaps not as a subcription... I currently stick with EVO its about as good as it gets. Not pefect mind you..

I'm EVO as well and Auto Italia only when there is some thing specific in it.......

Agree it is a great mag this month. The Islero is a stunning car - love the proportions but that exhaust looks very close to the ground.
