I don't think this was noted by the forum when the edition came out.

A nice 5 page spread, sub-titled "Trident tested - Sports Grand Tourers."

Covering 3 of the most prominent GTs built over the last 50 years, Bill McGraths 3500GT, Brian Harris' yellow Ghlibli Cup and Scott Cranes GTS.

All in all a very readable and positive overview of the UK Maserati Club.

I read it P and thought it about the oddest write-up I've read in a long time. Think Roberto had his mind on the corse seat he has rather than his job! His conclusion was more than a little bit dodgy.

I looked at one in WH today and it had the GT S and Grancab in it...They said the Grancab was for men who drink white wine...That would be me then...But then they are wrong asd I would have the GT S over the Grancab so what do they know.

White with Red leather Dem, on a Maserati? very very Essex. Has to be dark blue for me with cream leather or black with tan.

On the whole is was a very silly write-up, bordering on offensive in it's summary.

It meanders lazily from Freddy Mercury by way of croissants, European politics, the iPhone, Communists v Fascists, restaurant culture and ferrets and lands with a imbecilic thud at "The GranCabrio is for dynamic females, anyone in show business and men who enjoy white wine".

Classy stuff!

there is a more worrying article in Classic & Sports car at the moment which purports to be a buying guide for Biturbo's but which is misleading, ill informed and has the wrong images for models they are trying to make reference to.

One of the most dissapointing Maser articles I've ever seen.
