Hi all,

Continuing on my pursuit for a Maserati, I have since decided I need a Gran Turismo S.

What does everyone think of the below:

Link - https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202010295582064?atmobcid=soc3

The dealer has said that the price is final so no movement unfortunately.

The service's are as follows
First Service Main Agent @ 9k March 2014
Second Service Main Agent @ 13k Feb 2016
Third Service Maserati Specialist @ 16k March 2018
Forth Service Maserati Specialist @ 18k Feb 2020
Not due next service till Feb/Mar 2022

Views and input highly appreciated. Thanks!

Lovely colour and spec, and low mileage. Not easy to find a local specialist in Scotland for the pre-purchase inspection though!

Looks decent, with lots of popular options, shadow line, comfort pack, front/rear sensors etc. I think the front 'canards' set it off nicely, Loved them on my old 2011 MC-shift.
I think I said on one of your previous posts what to look out for when purchasing, but ideally get someone that knows to inspect it.
Definitely get the underneath looked at if its spent much time north of the boarder....well anywhere really.

Ooh what a nice combination.
Needs a full inspection for subframe corrosion and suspension wear along with oil leaks.
Get the registration and check the MOT history online and Good Luck.

Have you considered speaking to Richard Grace? he has 3 in stock - don't know your budget, but he can probably source you a good car commensurate with your budget. All his cars undergo a full inspection at Autoshield Maserati so you know they are sorted and passed a health check. if I was in the market to buy another Maserati, I'd be talking to Richard first before making any move. Too many horror stories buying a lemon car that reveals shed loads of work on the first service under new ownership (if not before that).

If you’re willing to spend £35k, I’d be tempted to wait a bit longer and you should get a 2013 (facelift), which in my opinion look miles better. Updated headlights, front bumper and amazing seats etc, will probably be easier to sell come resale also.

Just to go against the grain..

I much prefer the non-“facelift” car, they look like someone has stuck a Japanese aftermarket style front bumper on them. I also like the later wavy design seats that this has as opposed to the sports seats (it’s a grand tourer not a sports car..)

I also wouldn’t bother with an MC shift if not in a Stradale, especially not over the later gearbox that this has, its excellent in all conditions, whereas the MC shift is excellent in only one condition.

I love that Interior colour as well.

Yikes that interior is not for me.

And I struggle with any car (other than true exotics) covering less than 2000 miles a year .... and as we know that is not what the GT likes.

IMO it would need to be absolutely perfect and speed for nothing to command that price.
