There is an eight page article on the Khamsin in the current issue of Classic Cars (cover date November 2013!) - very enthusiastic write up.

I used to see a dark blue one around Aberdeen in the early eighties, was stunning.

A few years ago I bought the gold Khamsin that Maserati GB had in their collection for promotion work and shows. Great fun to drive and own. Unfortunately I sold it about 3 years ago - since when they have at least doubled in value. If another well sorted example was available at a sensible price I'd struggle to stop myself buying it.

Ewan, your ex Khamsin is alive and well living in Scotland. I know the current owner loves it.

There is a dark blue one owned by a long term club member in Scotland, not sure where he lives though.

I sold it to Paul over the phone, as I was in Italy at the time. He went to my house in Dorset to collect it (a friend of mine had the keys to my garages) and simply got in and drove it back. No sat-nav, no map, no knowledge of the car, the local roads etc, and all late one evening in the dark. Brave man! I understand that since then he has rebuilt the engine and given the car a re-spray, so he clearly loves it and is giving it the attention it deserves. Top bloke.

Yes, I must buy a copy...and if anyone is interested in Lancias...a guy I know has had an article done in Auto Italia on his B 20 coupe which he races, Dublin based
