A picture paints a thousand words! You can all see the large STOP sign? Well she didnt!
So I am looking for recommendations for an approved Bodyshop in south east, I live in Hastings, East Sussex.
Beaconsfield Workshop rebuilt my mates Espirit when it was written off. They did fantastic work and paint. At the end of the day it should be collected and delivered anyway so doesn't matter where it goes in the South I guess.I am with Lockton Insurance and they said they had no approved on their list for the South East?
The woman driver thought that I was the one that should have stopped, total idiot!! Anyone on a Bike would be in hospital for a long long time , shouldn't be allowed on the road.
Police came, no one hurt and were happy for me to drive it home as it appears most of the damage is front and side wings. It felt like I was in a bulldozer when I hit her, the Toyota just spun round like a fairground Dodgem. Hers is most likely a write off, rear and front wheels on hers just buckled in. Fortunately I had slowed a little, so no airbag or wasted rubber on the road. Police were amazed how well the car stood up.
I was collecting the debris off the road and theatrically threw it the boot, her husband had the front to point out a little bit of plastic on the verge and said I had missed a bit. When I told him that I was just picking up the worst off the road he said "I thought you might need it>" . Unbelievable! I quickly replied " Im not going to be *** gluing it back together !!" Which made the policeman laugh.
Oh I thought it was a 10 plate. Bit of grille in the way of the 3 and I did not look too hard to be fair. Here's hoping they fix her up then.I really don't want to part with her, only 13000 miles on the clock! 2013 plate.
Christ on a bike! What does she think STOP actually means?I am with Lockton Insurance and they said they had no approved on their list for the South East?
