I guess we are all different but these cars are rare and if the price/spec suits then I'd be banging the door in to get what I wanted. Don't care if they don't do their job properly as long as I get what I want as I will have the car long after I have forgotten the salesman's suit.

I guess I have been spoilt in my past transactions in that case as whenever I have fallen for a car I've been lucky enough to have a salesman who has been good to deal with :)

I've walked out of several dealerships due to the attitude or lack of interest from the sales staff even when I've been interested in something specific. Their loss not mine. Something always turns up elsewhere where the staff a more deserving of the custom.

I recall many years ago when my boys were much younger dealing with Mercedes in Reading... salesman was having kittens any time they looked like getting close to a car... They were never destructive but busy and keen to explore..... We couldn't concentrate in the end and left without doing a deal on a new ML.....

By contrast Maranellos in Egham were more than happy for the boys to have a good look round the Ferrari's.. were encouraged to sit in them and the salesman even started one up for the noise.....When my wife tried to apologise for them the he said "No problem... they're future customers... ".... .. That was when I bought my first Maserati from them.....I think they've got a bit more retentive about their stock since.. But at the time, we were all pretty pleased with their attitude.. and my boys .. now adults (nearly) remember it well..

Now that's more like it!! Imagine what an idiot the sales chap would have sounded if he came out with stuff like "this will be gone by 5pm" :D

The car I posted above is still available - my mate went to see it and did not like it did not seem to be the pride and joy for the previous owner...not well looked after...

Just go's to prove what ***** work there!

The 4200 I looked at there many moons ago had trim missing as well......This is not good for a Maserati main dealer...Would expect the cars to be sorted being put on the forecourt to be honest.
