I wish you could try mine Phil.. it’s such a different car from a ‘factory 360’ now.Would love another 360 Modena a very Special Car indeed.
Or thisLove it!
Would look the part outside our Coppercoat office in Spain.
Cheers Brian that's very nice of you indeed.I wish you could try mine Phil.. it’s such a different car from a ‘factory 360’ now.
AV have done their magic and running 450 bhp, a completely different throttle map and a 9000 red line, it sits between a Challenge Stradale and a challenge race car in terms of performance. It’s on steroids.
Perhaps we can get together in 2024 so you can try it.
Indeed - that would be just the job!Or this

Yet bringing my Jaguar from Spain to France one of the easiest things I've done.Indeed - that would be just the job!
Though what we really need is something that is already registered out there. Importing a car from the U.K. into Spain is a nightmare. I’ve been trying to register my Landie in Mallorca, and 10 months in and it’s still not done, even though the Spanish authorities stand to make about EUR 5k for doing so.
Yes, I’ve been watching some go through auction lately and - what appear to be good ones - aren’t getting out of the low £40ks; cautious buyers in a softening market. I can’t see this left hooker doing any better … but I quite like it!Me neither, hate the brown steering wheel too. Bet it’s going to need 10-15k work but I am partial to a LHD 360…

Just out of curiosity, why not buy a local (LHD) car? The 1/3rd tax is not that bad - if I want to import anything, it’ll be about 100% and no LHD allowed. There is a LHD prototype Khamsin floating around here but it was never officially imported/registered - I had a look and drive but as it’s LHD the probability of actually being able to drive it here legally is virtually 0.Just one of the long list of negatives that the Brexit voters have imposed on us, just because they stuck their heads in the sand and refused to believe the blatantly obvious inevitable drawbacks. But let’s not get into that again.
End result - to take a car into Spain means paying about a third of its value in tax - hence me taking the least valuable car I own.
Car prices in Europe are a third or even twice more than that in the UK for equivalent cars.Just out of curiosity, why not buy a local (LHD) car?
