I'm looking for a 4200 or GS owner near Salisbury to do me a huge favour. I have been helping out a few forum members with some diagnostic work (some details here) but have encountered some problems with accessing the ABS module. I have been in touch with the manufacturer of the tool and they want to do a quick test on a car.
Their tech guy lives in Salisbury and I'm in London so I thought it would be easier to try and find him a car close by rather than try and get him and a car to me.
The guy would come to your home/work at a date/time convenient to you and simply plug the kit in - he just needs to see what the error is before they can take it any further. It wouldn't take up 30 mins of your time and he would even do some prints off if you wished (such as clutch wear, etc).
I would be extremely grateful to anyone who can help - you'd also be doing the community a favour as if we can get the tool to work on more things then the less trips people have to make to expensive dealers.
