Hi all, i purchased a GTs MC Shift last week and i'm loving it so far although the weather hasn't allowed me to stretch it's legs yet.

I have a couple of questions already!

I have read on here about an upgrade to the latest sat nav system using discs, does anyone know where i can get some from? or do most people just use a Tom Tom/Garmin?

Is there also any way of getting your iphone/ipod to connect so that you can actually select songs etc?

And one last question, who would you recommend i use for servicing? i am in Norwich.

TIA.

Dirty....clean.......covered in bird poooo....always looks divine..!!

I must say the indies we know of virtually all have great reps.......................pity the MDs weren't up to the same standards!!!

Good to hear about the indies having good reps! is there much difference price wise between them and the MD's?

Yellow stitching, it compliments the calipers nicely i think, when the cars clean that is.

Thanks for the welcome guys and thanks for the link.

One other question i had was does anyone use a trickle charger? i am out of the country for up to five weeks at a time and would like to keep the battery topped up.

Just checked on it myself for my 4200 annual service....prices range £432 at a midlands indie to £954 for southern indie......MDs mostly at top end though!!!

I use a trickle charger if the car will be unused for over a week. You will get away with it for longer if the car did a long run last time and ditto when you use it again. These cars need at least half an hour driving to recharge the battery power used in a start so style of use is important.
