welcome Brendan...i am relatively new to the Maserati scene, but without the guidance and info provided by these guys on this site i would have been lost...bought a 3200gt in march haven't stopped smiling since (apart from the weather)....already planning how to get up the ladder to a gransport or similar one day....my only advice is to defintely have an indie inspection, they will tell you what should have been done, what to look for etc, check the history and that all usual mechanical things have been carried out as they are supposed to, ...happy hunting
