Frank, I did an annual with them last year at a fair price and it was fine and will likely do the same this year. Next year the 43.5k will be due and will probably go for indi on mainland. Cheers

I motd in advance myself and told them it had passed which makes such things less likely.

Frank

Offer received today, they hadn't forgotten to invite me after all.

BTW I went to the Champagne reception launch of the 458 spyder a while back, wasn't a bad night out.....

Cheers

It's a shame some of these dealers simply try and find faults when they are not there, just to make a few bob out of customers, I hate that. If they did not do any work and still charge you, saying everything is OK now, if you were not aware how would you know..???

Had a similar thing with a list of phantom items needing doing from a local MD when I bought my first Mas.

Just had a call from Autoshield about my clutch, I said check it because it's supposed to be at around 70%, they did and it's 39%, now that's service, some sod had set it wrong for the previous owner, no doubt to try and con him...!!!

Is that 39% worn or left Rob......did they say at what level the PIS level it had been set at?

Frank, I think it's 39% worn and they did not mention the PIS. I will be collecting her tomorrow so I'll try and get the full SP. They have done lot's of fiddly little jobs, nothing major at all which is nice. It had to have the old rattly oil pipe replaced, that was driving me skatty when it started cold, sounded like the Variators and I was dreading that. So let's see what she is like, Marios says she is a good one and that will do for me.

Frank,
I am pleased to hear that there is nothing major and that the car is a good one. I have a few jobs to do to get her up to tip top condition, but I can do that a bit at a time. If you are not carefull you can easily spend way too much on these lovelies and I am watching the pennies for a bit, as I have other expense coming up, not least the Xmas Booze Up for Maser Drivers.?
Cheers
