Sorry - pressd the wrong button too early! Anyway, the same green 3200GT that I started this thread with has come back up for sale by Grays again. Their T&C's of sale mean that there are no returns or refunds without exception so I was intrigued to see it reappear and rang them but couldn't get any decent/accurate info from them as to why it's still there. In my mind there are maybe 2 reasons - firstly the winning bidder couldn't get finance to complete the purchase (but who enters a bidding war on a binding contract without having the money to complete the sale??) or secondly, the winning bidder turned up, saw it and walked away for all the reasons previously discussed at the money he chose to pay for it during the auction. Given there will be some form of fee attached to his withdrawal from completing the purchase, maybe he realised the cost of getting out of the contract was a smaller price to pay than to pay for a car that was top-end money in the first place for what it is (with it's issues as listed) but still needed many thousands spent on it to get it close to an acceptable condition? Anyway, it ends in about 20mins so we'll see if there are more people out there wanting this machine.....!!!
