Still fancy a Barchetta but finding one that hasn't rusted is a challenge

They are out there still, but as you say it's hard to find one in good 'nick'. I went to see 5 in each corner of the UK before I found the right one. And even then it needed a bit of TLC to bring it up to scratch!

The Architect’s Barchetta is now owned by a local garage chap who MOT’d it and who has another one plus a sad neglected GTV in the corner of his compound. All but one I have seen have been grey apart from a dark green late series one in Le Mans.

I agree these cars are massively undervalued. However, you need to find a good one.

I owned this last year. Very low mileage but still needed springs, spring pans and welding to a few bits of the floor. It’s starting to get difficult finding a good one.
