Do not buy an older Freelander. I did and spent more on fixing problems than I paid for it.

Admit it was the petrol one, but with the cylinder head going and transfer box issues, I would steer very very clear.

i have looked at a few cars.....mainly now crvs and xtrails.....

what i will say ive noticed is something i never thought poss......

when i go to traders for these cars they dont negotiate, not a penny.....one of them wouldnt even knock off £50 for the mot it needed in 3 months!!
its not as if they were the cheapest either.....thought you could always negotiate with a trader, evidently they earn so much money they dont need to........
