ADJUSTING THE FRONT FOG LAMPS

According to my 4200 cc's annual "MOT" (actually every two years here in France) one of my front fog lamps is aiming too low and the other too high. I've found plenty of helpful posts giving guidance as to how to replace the fog / side light units, but nothing about how to adjust them. Are they in fact adjustable, and if so how?

There us a small dial you turn on the back of the fog light housing. Might be easier to take them out to adjust.
