Has anyone had any experience dealing with the above car dealer, they have a 03 4200 manual with 37K, full MSH £17990.00. Does that sound expensive or not?

Deatails of the car would be helpfull , its more than likely a known car , ADG .............. just go in with your eyes wide open , if your dealing with Dominic you can relax a little , independant inspection a MUST (before and after) and preferably not by Giallo , who is next door , when the list gets back of the items needing doing to complete the sale, get it inspected again to make sure they have been done , otherwise they have sold some good cars , but also SOME BAD ONES so be forewarned ,

Mathew at Giallo seems to know his stuff tho i have no personal experience of this , but it smacks of bias that he gets ex amount of regular work from ADG so i would tend to go fully independant

Keep us posted as to how you get on

Hi Foodie....good to see you're on the hunt!

As per Loz's post.....whether privately or from ANY dealer, an indie inspection of all Maseratis a MUST!

And as with all high end cars go over paperwork/invoices/service book with a fine toothcomb.

Full MSH means what exactly....expect both mileage AND annual services to be stamped up...because that is a FMSH!!

Sounds a tad dear, but no doubt after an indie inspection...you can negotiate it quite a bit.

Let us know how you get on.

Hi Foodie....I would do a search on here and over on The Maserati forum as there has been some good experiences and some no so good...But I woul go have a look and decide for yourself but get a good inspection done as per Franks post.

any news?? ADG once had a car i wanted 3 years ago.....never bought it, the last 3 services was done by giallo next door and i dont want to open an argument here but i felt as though being next door a few things can be brushed under the carpet and put me off.....some of their cars are very well priced aswel so could be just me.....

Hi Paul and welcome to the forum. I bought my Gransport from ADG and whilst I had a few issues after having bought it, the car turned out to be a very good car which according to HR Owen was one of the nicest they had worked on.

If you buy from ADG my advice to you would be as it would be no matter who you bought from Get the car independantly checked and not by someone of ADG's choice.

If you buy from a Maserati main dealer you may pay a bit more but at least you have the benefit of Maserati Used Car Insurance.

A great indie worth looking at is Nuvola in London who has a good reputation for selling honest cars but here again I would recommend an independant inspection of the car.

Finally, I believe with Maserati it is daft to seek the cheapest car........look for the best car you can afford. What is cheap with a Maserati can often end up costing you more in the end.

My 2004 4200cc cost me £17.5 six months ago with 46k on the clock and full service history, so yours looks in the right ball park maybe get £1k off that price
