A bit of a long shot but I need a favour.

Morning all.

I am looking for a little help with a prospective purchase, and would like someone to give it the once over prior to sending in the experts. The problem I have is now our hotel is open for the season I have very little spare time so with me being in Scotland and the possible new car in Cornwall I was hoping some kind soul would have a look to see if it's a non starter before I get the experts in with trailers etc for a major inspection.

Forgot to say I will of course pay for any costs involved.

I live in Hope

Hi Dicky

Good point large county!!! I'll email the guy now and let you know. If it works out that will be great.

How are you?

Ok so it is an AC, I knew they were the AC wheels but wasn't sure if you fitted them to a standard car. Mine would look great with them on. Very tempted to put the AC wheels on mine now ... Any more pics from different angles Peter?

May be worth asking Phil in Weston. He knows his cars has a garage and Corwall is not too far from him.

Would be happy to help and also have a trip to do to Malpas just outside Truro to visit the inlaws.

One of the best cars I've sold, in my opinion, the AC/4200 wheels look lovely on a 3200. Especially done in grey on a silver car. I had grey wheels on my Grigio Touring GS and it looked lovely too. I'm not a fan of dark wheels on blue cars or black but on a silver 3200 it makes a big difference.

The car was in Truro but was driven to a garage in Penzanze today! typical.....

My mate has just left his job in Penzance, typical. Who sells a classic Maserati from Penzance?? Awkward one really Pete, my mate would have a look over etc, he's not an expert but he's capable of having a good look as he knows a bit about cars. You'd then need it inspecting afterwards, if I were you, I'd fly Glasgow to Newquay and do it yourself. Getting a knowledgeable inspector to look may be expensive unless you can get one of these vehicle inspection companies to look rather than a Maserati specialist.

Dicky I would if I had the time but it's Easter so we are flat out.... Iwill instruct Marios if I can get some one to view prior, as you said a could turn into a big waste of money to send in the experts blind.

P.S any news on how my old girl is going???
