Agree 100% Out run....I do like the 4 seater but taking those seats out it lost a little of what made it special...Looking in A Stradale should be different from the standard car and those seats in the 4 seater look hardly any different....First time I look in a two seater I just wanted to get in and drive...Was a very, very special place to sit in and suited what the car was about.....May take some time I also believe the 2,seater will be the desirable one in years to come.

Nope, the four seaters don't have the carbon seats. Two seaters rock. More hardcore. Will be more valuable. I hope. :)

I think you will find 4 seaters do have carbon seats as an option

"Interior Carbon Fibre Package - Evolution IV with seat head restraints, mouldings and backrests in Carbon Fibre - £3,840"

Needs to be a 4 seat Strad for me, hopefully this time next year it will be

They do but they are just carbon backs on the standard seats....They are not the buckets you get on the 2 seater as I believe it was due to rear access.

I don't think they're the same bucket type seats as are in the first Strad. Just decorative embellishments to the std seats. Though I don't understand why the buckets couldn't be fitted to the 4 seat car.

I don't see the point of a 2 seat Strad though myself. The GT is massive, and the weight saved doesn't change that materially. But the loss of 2 seats does detract from one of the big selling points of the car.

The thing is though the 4 seater has the same kerb weight as the 2 seater. They balanced having four seats with more use of carbon such as the bonnet.

iirc the engine in the 4 seater was tweaked as well, so effectively you would have a faster Strad as a four seater.

Still nice to have one with the roll cage, bucket seats and race harness though.

For me, it needs to be the 4 seater just so that I can take more than one passenger in the car at a time. I also prefer the extra vent in the bonnet on the 4 seater.

There was a very nice Centennial 2015 Strad at Romans which was top money @ £90k considering JCT still have 2 new car @ £95k and the Romans one sold in less than a week so the prices are staying strong for the right car

Not many centennials in Grigio...most are white or red with a few blue Ganda versions.....I like that dirty off white one at tha Aston Martin dealer.

Hasn't the standard GTS they make now got more power or the same as the 2 seater Stradale........?.......So doubt it feels that much quicker but I can say from when I drove Mercian 2 seater it felt very special indeed. Far more than the standard car....and the standard car is pretty special.

I'm with Stuart on this...it would have to be a 4 seater for me. If and when I do upgrade it will be used a lot more than a 'weekend' car so needs to take the wife and daughter with me.

I do like the Centennial but it's a real shame you could not opt for alcantatra as the interior that is unique to the model only comes in full leather. For me, they missed a trick there as the alcantara works so well on a Strad

I prefer the Alcantara simply because you slide in leather, unless they are proper seats!!

Personally I prefer full leather but you buy what you want.

I agree that the 2 seater with as much silly stuff - buckets, harnesses etc - as possible is where the value is. Let's face it you do not buy a Maserati to get the fastest car for the money so you want everything you can with the Stradale to make it different. The 2 seater has 450PS and the 4 seater has 460PS so no real difference.

Interesting topic......

I brought one of the New Stradale's that JCT600 were selling back in July it replaced a 991 GT3 Clubsport, from a daily use perspective having four seats makes the car much more useable. As others have said it's a big car for just two seats and its not a car to throw around a circuit or even tight twisty lanes as say a GT3.

I was also a big fan of full leather and indeed had it on the Maserati GT S I owned previously, but having got used to alcantara in the GT3 and now in the Stradale, I have become a fan, better in both cold and hot conditions, just hope it wears as well as full leather......

I do agree that in terms of future value the 2 seater will possibly be more desirable, but for the 'hear and now' the 4 seater for me, makes much more sense......

Of course I am biased, but the two feel like different cars IHMO. The "impractical" one feels like a race car. The practical one a fast GT. I would like some of the 4 seaters weight saving features, although that bonnet makes the front of the car look like a Toyota Celica from mid 2000's. Having said all that I am sure I would consider a 4 seater strad had the 2 seater never existed.

I hope both 2 and 4 hold their values well!

That's the reason...those seats are so special and great to be in...Such an event every time. Love it.
