Enzo i would be tempted by a 550/575, especially the 550, it is a ferrari that in few years may be regarded as a classic.

Superb cars. I've never even been in a 575, but got some good seat time in a 550 a few years back. Incredible car! In fact, I think it might be the car I liked the most of any car I've ever driven! (Closely followed by my old M5). It was the 550 that got me looking at GS's.....ok, not the same, but go to be a fine substitute.

I'd be interested in following your progress if you do choose to go down this route. Best of luck.

Verdi have a menu service guide on their site...may give you an idea of service costs.

Thanks Peter,
Seems to very similar to Maserati...
The 2 indies I know (Roberto Grimaldi & Terry Hoyle) both charge £55 per hour.
Regards,
Enzo.

Yes Andrea...What he doesn't now about cars ain't worth knowing...He was a real find.....I had a BMW M3 CSL and he used to work for Cotswold BMW as Master Tech...Not many of them about....Got talking to him and he said he was starting out on his own as BMW/MINI/TVR specialist......but he can just about work on anything. He had a Diablo in there which had been stood around for years and years, siezed engine etc....Lambo quoted 40k to fix. He did it for around 9k with original parts and the car looked fantastic....When I was there a few weeks ago he had 3 TVR engines in pieces rebuilding...how the **** he new what went were was beyond me........Just as well I'm not a mechanic I guess.

He worked for Lotus,TVR, Ferrari so his experience is amazing.....Great bloke, great rates and I would not trust a car to anyone else. He is getting a great reputation within the area and further afield.

Yes Stuart is one of those jewels, a really nice and trustworthy guy... he deserves to do well. Cotswold BMW (Chelt) spoke very highly of him too - wish him well when you visit next. Glad he is getting established.

Established is an understatment....Nearly ever TVR owner within South Wales and surrounding srea seems to go to him now......It great to have him so close...I will pass on my regards Andrea....Did you know him from Cotswolds if you don't mind me asking...

ask away.. I was working with a bespoke servicing company for Ferrari, Lambo and Masers and met Stuart whilst working this, i spoke to Cotswold for a reference (which was exemplary) as we knew he could get round a Ferrari. I had the pleasure of meeting Stuart - he'd just started up.

That's great news - not surprised to hear he has the TVR business in a bag!

The great thing about him is that he will do any make any car from Ferrari to Volvo and he seems to now everything there is to know....A real gem.
